somerley house wedding

robyn & jake

It may sound trite, but the biggest joy of this job is the people.

This intimate access you get to peoples lives for a day seems to shortcut intimacy in a way. You see people at their best, and witness these intimate moments and exchanges and sides of people that some of their closest may never be privy to.

The armchair psychologist in me thrives on having an excuse to ask intentional and personal questions of people - mainly to facilitate a genuine heartfelt exchange to capture but also to learn. What makes people tick? What makes love grow and be sustainable? What are people most grateful for? How does the influence of someone so close to you for so long prompt growth and self reflection and mutual impact?

Two recent such joys, and two of the best, - revelling in the uplift of their community, celebrating the joy and the splendour and the commitment and the intention of it all.

Enjoy
