Redleaf Wollombi Wedding

Chloe & Carl

I want nothing less than to capture your very soul.

I want people who have never met you to be able to look through a set of images and feel like they 𝘬𝘯𝘰𝘸 you. Like they can see what makes you and your relationship tick. What your family is like. How you relate to your friends. What kind of people you surround yourself with. Wether you are loud and gregarious or quiet and pensive. The cheeky class clown or the introspective romantic. Wether your relationship is defined by joy and banter and a gentle ribbing, a deep well of loving appreciation or combination of the two. Wether you show your affection with touch and hugs or a gentle glance.

Why? Because it means I have done my job as I see it. As I see 𝘺𝘰𝘢. It means I have captured the essence of who you are and what your relationship is like and some of the stories that have brought you this far and shaped how you move through the world. For me the only way I can make it possible to do that is to immerse myself in your world for a day. By having no agenda. By following my curiosity and not worrying about a shot list or what I 𝘴𝘩𝘰𝘢𝘭π˜₯ be doing. By watching and observing and trying to figure out who and what makes you what you are. Makes your relationship what it is.

Because I want you to remember what this 𝘧𝘦𝘭𝘡 like more than what it looked like. I want you to feel 𝘴𝘦𝘦𝘯, both in yourself and your relationship. The shiny things don’t matter. I don’t want to create wedding photos, these are nothing less than a documentary of your life - of you - the fact its a wedding day is almost secondary. I want to reflect your story back at you in the most beautiful and honest and artistic way I can because otherwise, honestly, what’s the freaking point?

If I can do that whilst making it look cinematic and recognisable and nostalgic, and with a hint of irreverence to boot, I’m getting closer to what I’m trying to achieve, and you’ll have a record thats as uniquely 𝘺𝘰𝘢𝘳𝘴 as you can hope for.

Enjoy
