How do you know when you’re ready?

When you meet the right person? The right body? The right brain? At the right time? When you meet the person that makes you no longer notice anyone else? When you meet the person that makes you realise that noticing other people isn’t dangerous?

How do you know when you’re ready?

When you’re the right age? When you realise how happy you are right now? When you realise this is someone you can actually, for the first time, envisage a meaningful and joyful life with? When you realise that this person you’ve found -  someone who you’ve loved and fought with and made love to and felt the sublimest of highs and most excruciating of lows with, someone you’ve worshipped and resented and boasted about and bickered with - is someone you simply can’t, or don’t want to, picture yourself without?

How do you know when you’re ready?

When you realise you want the romance and the drama and the mundane and everything in between? When the things that used to scare you no longer do? When you are ready to actively make a choice about who you want to be and who you want, and choose, to be with.

How do you know when you’re ready?

Mia and Ben. A perfect blend of culture, joy, community, feeling and dancing until you need to be wiped down.
