Fun fact - Zubi first laid eyes on Chelsea at their then shared workplace, and was immediately enamoured. He was also then immediately warned by a supervisor not to pursue anything under the threat of severe departmental retaliation as workplace romances were frowned upon.

Evidently (and luckily for all involved) he decided that in this case discretion was not the better part of valour, and after going on a bunch of are-we-going-on-a-date-or-are-we-just-mates-hang-outs and a drunken duet to Toto as they were leaving the pub, Chelsea realised that these were in fact, dates, and that she was, in fact, just as in to Zubi as he was in to her.

Things moved very quickly from there-on in. Within a few months they had moved in together, and now have a dog, their own house, and the beginnings of a life together.

They got married on a beautiful, rainy day in Port Stephens, a place Chelsea spent many of her childhood summers, surrounded by family, the people they love - and their dog. It was joyous, it was heartfelt, it was a raucous and - particularly at the end - a riot of colour. Outrageous florals and styling provided by Botanica Bird.
