porteno surry hills wedding

Weddings, marriages, aren’t exactly what they used to be. They used to be this enormous, life altering event, both a literal as well as metaphorical adjustment. These days they tend to be more of a recognition of an existing truth, less alteration than celebration.

Never has this been more true. These two already have swathes of shared life experience together - the birth of their son Finn, a house of their own, two dogs - all the trappings of a beautiful life together.

This was a recognition not just of these truths but of the people that helped them get there. A celebration of life and love and shared experience - not just theirs but everyone in the room’s.

A few moments to look out for

  • The look on Brooke’s closest friends faces seeing her dressed for the day for the first time

  • ..and the look on Brooke’s as she gets to the top of the aisle

  • Pikachu militia

  • An unconventional use for a cotton bud

Enjoy
