Botanic House Wedding

Liv & Ernest

Your wedding is (…or should be) a direct representation of your values.

What do you want this day to say about who you are as a couple? About the things you think are important? Do you bond over and find joy in fine food or are you happiest barefoot in a field somewhere dancing and drinking the night away? Do you have a unique sense of style and aren’t afraid to do things your own way? Do you value experience? Do you want to use this occasion as a platform to directly speak to and thank and express gratitude for all the love and people in your life or do you think actions speak louder than words? Would you rather run away with each other or do you have throngs of people you can’t see yourself spending this day throughout? What do you LOVE to do, and who do you love to do it with?

Similarly, your wedding photos should be a direct representation of who YOU are. You shouldn’t be able to sub any old couple in the same old clothes with the same old poses into a set of images and get essentially the same results*. They should also represent what you value. Who you are. What your relationship is like. They should give an innate sense of who you are, not just what you were wearing or where you were.

If so, what did this day say about these two?

That they have an innate sense of fun - both individually and together. That they don’t take themselves too seriously and aren’t afraid to think and step outside of the box. That family and community is everything and that they put immense amounts of thought and effort into providing a joyful and uplifting experience. That even in the midst of a mammoth wedding day they wanted to prioritise time together to go on a little adventure to reflect on this big beautiful thing they were doing and what brought them to this point - their first date was to Luna Park so we snuck into a little arcade after a little carpark rooftop hang.

Liv and Ern - having a raucously good time, basking in and providing an experience for their people, and making a little bit o time for some romance amongst the chaos.

Enjoy
