It’s all that matters.

A day with some of the best, for some of the best. The day they met, sweating over the back of a bar together, Jules went out with some mates immediately afterwards and told them he had just met the love of his life. He was smitten. He was done. He was ready. He was overjoyed.

Caitlin went home to her boyfriend.

And so Jules waited. A few years as it turns out. As a friend. Nothing untoward. Nothing inappropriate. But still he knew. Still he felt it, in his bones, and as it turns out he wasn’t wrong. The look on his face - hands shaking with overwhelm and pent up energy with nowhere to go when he saw her - said it all. Some things are worth the wait.
